Ikorodu, Other Divisions Comes Alive With #GreaterLagosFiesta

Ikorodu came alive on Friday, with the #GreaterLagosFiesta which ushered in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment as a massive crowd gathered at the Ikorodu Ultra -Modern Town Hall, Ikorodu, which will serve the entire Division.

The fiesta is also going on simultaneously in Badagry, Epe, Agege and Lagos Island.

The atmosphere at various venues was buzzing with excitement, laughter, and pure joy as attendees immersed themselves in the comedy shows and live musical performances.

The performances from Badagry to Epe down to Agege and Ikorodu, were mind-blowing, with both local talents and international stars mounting the stage to deliver unforgettable danceable beats and electrifying performances which thrilled fun lovers at all the locations of the event.

Day 1 of the Greater Lagos Fiesta 2023, truly brought people together in a celebration of unity, culture, and pure fun as attendees sang along to their favorite songs, cheered their beloved artistes, and shared unforgettable moments till the early hours of today (Saturday 30th December 2023).

On that Friday in lkoroduo, it was all Fuji affairs as Alhaji Sule Adio Atawewe and Remi Aluko took their turn on the stage to entertain the crowd. Young local talents were also provided with the platform to showcase their gifts.

Djs Mickey4 and Rayce also gave their best on the turntable to their fans in Ikorodu.

The likes of Davido, Olamide, Teni, Mayorkun, Spyro, Seyi Vibez, Small Doctor, Shallipopi, Flavor, and many more, will be appearing on stage across the five Divisions in Lagos.

Some top Government officials who monitored the Day 1 of the Greater Lagos Fiesta event included the Chairman House of Assembly Committee on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Solomon Bonu, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, the Permanent Secretary of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Oloruntoyin Atekoja, Chairman of Igbogbo Bayeku Hon. Sesan Daini.

The Commissioner, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka appreciated the Governor for making the show possible and also thanked all those working to ensure great shows which will climaxed on the eve of the New Year, across the divisions of the State, including Sol Beach.
